PUPPY and BEGINNERS courses

If you see a button below for “Wait List” you can secure a spot in the introductory seminar and pay in person at the seminar (check or cash) so that you are ready to go if a space opens up in your chosen course.

What to do:

  1. Click on the Wait List button.
  2. Select the introductory seminar you’d like to attend. If no seminars are available, do not join the wait list for this course (unless you have already attended the seminar within the last year).
  3. Come to that seminar. Don’t bring your dog to this one.
  4. Please bring your course payment to the seminar in cash or check since we cannot process credit cards at the training facility. Your attendance at the seminar along with your payment will fulfill the requirement for attendance in your chosen or desired course. If a spot opens up in that course, that spot will be yours because you are now ready to go.

If no spot has opened up by the start date of the course, your payment will be applied to the next course of your choice, and you won't have to repeat the seminar.

Payments made on the day of the seminar are nonrefundable in accordance with our refund policy.

Instructor

It’s never too early to get that puppy started with the basic skills they will need to be good family members. This entry-level class for puppies under 6 months old (at the start of class) focuses on socialization and teaches the following skills: sit, down, come, stand, loose leash walking, no jumping, and attention. The first session of the course is our Introduction to Training Seminar which teaches handlers the basics of Redfern’s training techniques.

All Entry-Level Classes (Puppy, Beginners & Reactive Rover) include participation in a 2 hour, one time “Introduction to Training Seminar” prior to the first class session. This mandatory Introductory Seminar (for humans only — no dogs necessary) is included in the course fee, and will be offered at a variety of times to enable all students to choose a session that fits their schedule.

Introduction to Training Seminar dates can be selected during registration for the Puppy, Beginners, or Reactive Rover class.
