An entry level class consisting of the Introduction to Training Seminar followed by 6 weekly classes. This course is designed for dogs 7 months of age and older as of the first day of class. Basic obedience skills and training techniques and tips are the focus of this class. Skills taught include sit, down, come, stand, loose leash walking, no jumping, and attention.

Purpose: To help handlers socialize their dogs and to teach basic obedience skills.

All Entry-Level Classes (Puppy, Beginners & Reactive Rover) include participation in a 1-session “Introduction to Training Seminar” prior to the first class session. This mandatory Introductory Seminar (for humans only — no dogs necessary) is included in the course fee, and will be offered at a variety of times to enable all students to choose a session that fits their schedule.

Introduction to Training Seminar dates can be selected during registration for the Puppy, Beginners, or Reactive Rover class.
